RE: DISTRIBUTION VIA WILLMOTTS AND PALLETFORCE CLASSED AS ESSENTIAL SERVICES

Further to the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 23rd March, we wanted to update you on the part Willmotts Transport continues to play in maintaining the supply chain.

Our clients and suppliers should be assured that both Willmotts Transport and the Palletforce network will be operating as close to normal as possible. As we are classed as key workers, no further new or imminent changes to the way we are now operating are to be enforced following the PM’s announcement.

The logistics and transport sector is playing a crucial role in keeping the country running. It has been designated a critical sector and our respective distribution teams have accordingly been given “key worker” status. We will therefore continue our services to support all customers trading through these difficult times, unless and until Government instructions advise otherwise.

The Company will obviously be reviewing the situation on a daily basis. This pandemic is a fast changing and fluid environment, and these unique and unprecedented circumstances could yet change.

We will continue to take all responsible steps to protect our workforce as we have done so throughout the current emergency and to promote and maintain strict hygiene standards and social distancing as appropriate.

Please stay safe and take all precautions necessary to protect yourselves and your families. We must look forward with hope and optimism and by working together we will come through this.
