Willmotts Transport is one of the largest independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West, based just outside of Shepton Mallet. Due to continued success and growth, we are looking for an experienced Foreman Groundworker to start immediately to cover a portfolio of over 40 properties. The right candidate will have several years of experience and a good understanding of the trade and to be able to operate a full range of plant including excavator dumper and roller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concrete

  • Drainage

  • Concrete

  • Finishing

  • Understand, promote, and manage Health and Safety goals for the project

  • Steel fixing

  • Concrete works

  • Tarmac

  • Ensure quality is the focus throughout the works

  • Understand the importance of programme and deadlines

  • Ability to work on your own and as a team

Key Competencies:

  • Excavator, dumper, roller- CPCS

  • Cable Avoidance

  • CSCS

  • First Aid (would be an advantage)

Additional Details:

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
